Finite Element Analysis – CosmosWorks

Lakeflow has CosmosWorks Designer which enables us to undertake linear static finite element analysis. This is suited for:

• Analysis of casing stress and deformation under pressure and external loads e.g. nozzle loads.
• General static stress analysis.

Through Associates we are also able to offer dynamic analysis (calculation of natural frequencies etc) and CFD. Computational Fluid Dynamics is still an expensive tool and is neither justified nor necessary in many hydraulic design situations.
