Hydraulic Design of Small or Integrated Pumps
These small pumps present their own special challenges of which we have considerable experience.
- Matching to the motor performance – with many small power motors speed varies considerably with power output. Series wound DC and Universal motors may have high running speeds (up to 20000 rpm).
- Design constraints from the manufacturing process – often plastic moulding.
- Space constraints – in many cases important dimensions are fixed calling for imaginative solutions.
